I have always loved teaching children. Their eyes light up when all of a sudden they understand what they are doing or why it works that way. Those fleeting moments make all the planning and preparing worth every second.  I have experience using the Creative Curriculum from teaching at another center for a number of years. It lends itself to those “aha” moments that make children so excited about learning. Those are my favorite moments. 

I was able to return to school to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Eastern University due to the Rising STARS Tuition Assistance program, which reflects my long standing commitment to quality early childhood education. I am so thrilled to be on this journey with your family.

I am a wife and mother of four amazing children. They are all grown ups. Now I get to play with my grandchildren who are so curious and interesting. I love seeing life through their eyes. They make such wonderful observations as they are learning all about this huge world of ours. 

The other great passion in my life is telling people all about Jesus. Ours is a faith based center so that means I get to share with the children what I’ve learned in my faith walk, and we will learn even more together. The Bible provides very entertaining stories that we can act out and experience using tactile and visual representations. 

I value the gift of children. I am so thankful for those who allow me to participate in their children’s lives.
